DESCRIPTION:In this workshop, we will tackle the sticky questions around creating and applying natural renders. What is the difference between cob and adobe? What the heck is clay aliz? Not every natural plaster question has a straightforward answer. By understanding some basic underlying concepts that apply to everything that sticks to a wall you can have a road map to a successful plaster project. We will come to understand each rendering mix as a part of a stratum of “sticky wall stuff”. We will also get down and dirty and learn a few tips and techniques for applying renders.\nBy the end of this workshop, you will have an understanding of natural renders and the “group effort” to research, understand, teach, and apply them.\n
