Early-Bird Registration Open!
Preliminary Conference Program Available
Happy New Year Everyone,
Thank you to everyone who submitted a proposal to speak and/or host a workshop at the upcoming Rocky Mountain Natural Building Conference. It’s always so great to see that so many folks are just as excited about the event as we are. The conference planning committee has been very busy throughout December processing all the proposals and organizing a preliminary full schedule of events.
We’re so pleased to announce that a preliminary SCHEDULE HAS BEEN POSTED on our website! Please see the conference page on our website for more information and to view the schedule. You can click on each individual event for more details. This schedule is subject to change, but hopefully not too much!
ONLINE REGISTRATION for the conference is still available at special Early Bird rates. Space at the venue is limited, so sign up before it fills up! You can pay via your PayPal account, a credit card, through our Facebook page, or by mailing a good ol’ fashioned check. If you’re an existing NBA member, please email us for a discount coupon code. Early-Bird rates are set to expire on January 15th… so as Mary Poppins would say, “Spit Spot!”
In the coming weeks, we’ll be adding additional registration categories for Vendor and Conference Sponsors, so please let us know if you or your business would be interested. The Entry Foyer area of the the MARC will be the location for vendor display tables, registration and reception. Conference Sponsors will receive recognition on our website and through various written and verbal channels at the conference.
Regarding accommodation, we’ve been in contact with a few hotels that have agreed to offer special discounted rates when you mention “Community Rebuilds” or “Natural Building Conference”, if you book before February 26th. These hotels are:
The Virginian Motel: (435) 259-5951, 70 East 200 South
Hotel Moab Downtown: (435) 259-7141, 182 S Main St
(ask for Jasper)
The Gonzo Inn: (435) 259-2515, 100 West 200 South
Alternatively, there are a plethora of other hotels and close-in camping options. Remember that the conference will mostly take place at (or very close to) the Moab Arts and Recreation Center (MARC) at the intersection of 100 N and 100 E.
We look forward to seeing you soon,
Your NBA Board and RMNBC Planning Committee
