Exploring Natural Interior Wall Systems

This will be a hands-on workshop that explores several examples of natural building wall systems. Examples include wattle and daub; light clay straw; cob; lath and plaster; and others. Participants will get their hands dirty applying these natural building techniques. Workshop will be held inside the new CR office building, mostly upstairs.

Relevance: This workshop will help participants to explore many different techniques that can
be used as alternatives to conventional drywall on interior walls. They will learn what materials can be sourced and used, and what the benefits of these systems are compared to conventional construction.
