Matt MarinoMatt Marino is co-founder and president at Bismarck, ND-based Homeland Hempcrete, a Structural Hemp-Insulated Panel manufacturing company based in Bismarck, ND. He has an extensive background in operations and has focused most of his career on supply chain efficiencies. Early on when exploring the hemp industry he realized the amazing potential that using industrial hemp in construction could have. He and his wife, Samantha (co-founder) along with their two kids moved back to their ‘Homeland’ of Bismarck, ND in 2018 to found Homeland Hempcrete, and begin the mission of constructing better built homes; Homes that utilized locally-sourced resilient materials, performed better, that would last longer, and that provided a healthy indoor environment for its occupants. This mission is becoming a reality. His focus now is to make hempcrete more accessible, more scalable, and accelerate the adoption of healthy and resilient building materials.
