Building a Chinese Greenhouse Using Only Solar Energy (Virtual)
In this talk, I’ll describe what a Chinese greenhouse is, why it is so much better than conventional greenhouses, the design principles, natural building construction materials, and how they can be designed to operate well through the winter with only solar energy as your heat source.
Relevance: This talk is about building a structure that will let attendees feed themselves — help achieve self-sufficiency, reduce energy demand for heating by relying on passive solar, and in the process reduce their carbon footprint.
