Our Conference Theme: "Resilience"

The Natural Building Alliance is now seeking presentation and workshop proposals for our upcoming Rocky Mountain Natural Building Conference in Bozeman, MT Sept. 18- 20, 2025  

The conference hosts “breakout” presentations and/or discussions in the rooms provided at the Emerson Center, similar to our conferences in the past.  This year, we also plan to have multiple hands-on workshops during the conference outside on the lawn.  If you’d like to be a presenter or workshop host at this year’s conference, please fill out the form below.  Please keep in mind the general guidelines below.  Your presentation, discussion, or workshop should work with our Theme and Vision for the conference. 

The Conference planning committee will select proposals based on their inclusion of the theme.

We encourage proposals from from folks with underrepresented backgrounds to share unique perspectives on natural building.

Conference Vision:  This conference seeks to promote, share, and foster all forms of natural and sustainable building techniques and systems.  It should serve as a melting pot of ideas and goals related to the big reasons why we all do what we do.  We’re all here together to take action for our communities and planet.  We’re here to help reduce carbon and improve our health.  Let’s all start working together.

Proposal Deadline:  May 12, 2025

On-site Presentation/Round-table Proposals (to be held indoors at the Emerson):  Presentations and Discussions will likely need to fit completely into a 1-hour time slot, which should include time for Q&A, social time, etc.  Expect between 10 and 50 participants.  All rooms will have adequate power supplies for projectors, computers, etc.  Please note we may ask for your presentation to be made available for free to all conference registrants. 

Hands-on Workshop Proposals:   Workshop hosts will be responsible for set-up and clean-up of their workshops, although some volunteer help may be available.  Workshops have the option of running for a short or long time slot.  

Accepted proposals include a free conference fee.
